There is usually some parking available (at your own risk) at the mill on open days and we can make special arrangements for visitors with limited mobility if you contact us in advance.  Please note that there are no public toilets at the mill.  You may find it preferable to park at Ashcombe Car Park, where there are toilets, and to walk the 500m to the mill.

The public car park at Ashcombe (SS 774394) is signposted from the main road.  Coming from the Exford direction turn right shortly after passing St Luke's Church.  From the west, pass the mill and turn left not long after the Exmoor Forest Inn.  The entrance road to the car park is quite narrow (so not suitable for large vehicles) but keep going and you will find quite a large car park on two levels.  There are public conveniences and a picnic area in the car park.

Leave you car at Ashcombe Car Park and walk down the main road to the mill.  There is no pavement for the last part of this route so you are advised to cross the road when the pavement ends and to walk through the riverside meadow (SS77353915).  Leave the meadow by the gate at Simonsbath Bridge and walk up th road to the mill.

Refreshments are available from Boevey's Tea Rooms, the Exmoor Forest Inn and, by appointment, at the Simonsbath House Hotel.

Please do not leave your car in the cafe, hotel or inn car parks without permission when visiting the mill .
