Subject: RE: Mires Vols 4th Dec

Hello Graham

Just to check that it is OK for the Mires volunteers to have a bit of a Christmas do on Monday the 4th at the sawmill.    I think you guys are due to be there as well.  We’ll bring mince pies and mold wine if you can light the fire……

The Plan (if your happy)

  • Mire vols arrive at 10am, kit up and go out onto the moor to do some work. (leaving a few cars at the mill)
  • Lunch time all descend back on the mill, for fire, pies and wine…  oh and eat our packed lunches together….

Hope that’s ok, any problems let me and Conrad (cc’d) know.

All the best

Pat

Subject: Mires Vols 4th Dec

Hi Pat,

Quick note re the 4th Dec mires vols – plan is to go back to Burcombe to finish off some bits there before going down to the Sawmill around lunchtime for mince pies and mulled wine – are you ok to open up the sawmill for us in the morning? Or potentially at lunch if it’s easier?

Also, would it be ok to change the details for the 4th Dec to meeting at the Sawmill rather than Ashcombe carpark, since that’s where folks will be departing from after we finish.

Finally – can Morag and I borrow the volunteer flasks the week before please so we can brew up some mulled wine!

Cheers,

Conrad.
